This year has been an unusual and difficult year for fund raising.

Due to COVID-19, we had to cancel our Hope for a Better Life event schedules in January 2021 at the University of North Florida. Instead of our annual fundraising event, we are collecting purses, totes or luggage and filling them with items for the women in the homeless shelters in our community. During the holiday season, many typically collect toys for Toys for Tots, and this year we would like to also do something for the mothers.

The mothers in need in Duval County also deserve to experience the joy of knowing that their community cares for them. Please help contribute a purse, tote, piece of luggage, or any of the listed items. You can also contribute by donating directly through this website via our Donations page. All contributions and donations will go directly to the Trinity Rescue Mission Women’s and Children’s Shelter. Thank you for helping bring hope to our community.

Please donate a new or gently used purse, tote, or piece of luggage to distribute to our local homeless shelters.

We are also collecting the following items to fill these purses and totes:

Toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, hair brushes, hair ties, shampoo, soap, hand sanitizer, tissues, feminine hygiene products, masks, scarves, hats, gloves, and lotion. Any unused toiletries from hotels are also great contributions.
